Speech Pathology
We are skilled in providing assessments that evaluate a child’s communication and learning abilities to understand more about their strengths and areas for improvement in speech, language, literacy, and social communication. The type of assessment is chosen based on the specific concerns of the child.

We offer the following speech pathology assessments:

Articulation and Phonology Assessments

These assessments explore how a child pronounces individual speech sounds and their phonological awareness skills (knowledge of speech rules and how to use sounds in a language) to determine the presence of a speech sound disorder. 

Language Assessments

These assessments explore a child’s expressive (communicating) and receptive (understanding) language skills to help determine the presence of a language delay or language disorder.

Pragmatics (social supports) Assessments

These assessments explore a child’s ability to use and understand social language by assessing how they make inferences and interpret and respond to social interactions.
